I want to personally welcome you to the home of the Mid Valley Chevy Club. Our club has a long standing reputation in the community of embracing the long history of "American Graffiti" by hosting free car shows during Graffiti Week in Modesto, supporting the Modesto Area Street Rodders at their car show, the kick off of Graffiti Week, and assisting the North Modesto Kiwanis Club in organizing the "Cruise" on Friday night in June. We also encourage those with an interest in the restoration and preservation of the vehicles that represented the "Cruise" started back in the 1950's and 1960's which gave George Lucas his inspiration for creating the movie, "American Graffiti".
The Mid Valley Chevy Club is approximately 100 members strong. Our members work hard at not only supporting the Graffiti events, but also supports car events in the Central Valley as a way to further the interest of car restoration and preservation to the youth of today. We have a strong tradition of also helping other non profit organizations through support and fund raisers that are well known and accepted in the Central Valley. Our Club also schedules car runs to destinations in the Central Valley that are of interest to both the car restorer and enthusiast that sparks interest of both male and female members. As an example, the Mid Valley Chevy Club takes an active role in organizing the Graffiti Car Show at McHenry Village, the free Park'N'Shine events at Century Center, Vintage Fair Mall, Downtown Modesto "Walk of Fame", Cool Hand Luke's, and the "Fallen Heroes" Car Show, recognizing the fallen law enforcement officers and the current law enforcement who protect our citizens on a daily basis in Stanislaus County.
